Air rifles up for discussion at Commission’s May 24 meeting in Lubbock

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission will reconsider its approval of air rifles and air bows. The Commission approved the use of such devices for big-game hunting in March, and a start date of Sept. 1. But questions posed about the lethality—specifically, muzzle velocity—of the weapons gave Commissioners pause.
