SPORTSMEN GROUPS SEEK U.S. HOUSE VOTE ON SHARE ACT
Fifty one sportsmen groups representing millions of American sportsmen and hunters are urging the House leadership to schedule HR 2406, the SHARE Act bipartisan sportsmen legislative package, for floor time and a vote. The SHARE Act passed the House in the previous Congressional session. Use this action alert or call the U.S. House at 202-224-3121, ask for your Representative and request they urge House leaders to schedule a floor vote on the SHARE Act.
This bill revises a variety of existing programs to expand access to, and opportunities for, hunting, fishing, and recreational shooting such as:
• Hunting, Fishing, and Recreational Shooting Protection Act
• Target Practice and Marksmanship Training Support Act
• Polar Bear Conservation and Fairness Act of 2015
• Recreational Lands Self-Defense Act of 2015
• Recreational Fishing and Hunting Heritage and Opportunities Act
• Hunter and Farmer Protection Act
• Federal Land Transaction Facilitation Act Reauthorization of 2015
• African Elephant Conservation and Legal Ivory Possession Act of 2015
