The increase in the number of women hunters probably comes as no surprise to industry members, but word is going out to the mainstream as well, as evidenced by the article, “More Women Give Hunting a Shot,” by Kristen A. Schmitt, which was published in National Geographic Daily News. It begins, “In recent years, American women are spending more time in tree stands and deer blinds—and putting fresh meat on the table.”
