Cabela’s Kid’s Day Festivities June 7
Cabela’s in Buda is holding its annual Kid’s Day event in front of the store on Saturday June 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fun and educational activities will be available for kids of all ages including a Catch and Release Fishing Pond where the first 50 kids to catch a fish receive a free Zebco rod and reel, a youth archery range, a BB gun range, bouncy castle and several interactive wildlife displays. Over 29 local wildlife agencies, community groups and businesses will take part with interactive booths. Some of the highlights include:
- A walk through Sensory Safari from SCI Austin
- Classic Car Show from Gearheads
- Fishing Exhibit Trailer from Texas Parks and Wildlife Angler Education
- A free Family Handgun Safety Clinic led by A Girl and a Gun from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- A flower planting station from the Hays County Victim Services Division
- Fire truck Display from the Buda Fire Department
