Cabela’s and NRA to Host Special Event

Cabela’s will team up with the National Rifle Association to host in-store NRA Weekend events across the company’s retail locations, Saturday, Sept. 13 and Sunday, Sept. 14. The annual events feature NRA membership drives, along with a series of firearm safety courses, educational workshops, in-store product demonstrations and more.

All new and current NRA members who join or renew their membership during NRA Weekend will receive a $25 Cabela’s gift certificate. Cabela’s also will offer a full schedule of free workshops and in-store demonstrations from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday on a variety of topics, including firearm safety, selection, fitting and concealment, ammunition selection, firearm and ammunition storage solutions and rifle sights and optics. Specific courses include:

• Personal Protection Inside the Home
• Concealed Carry Question & Answer
• Situational Awareness
• Non-Lethal Self-Defense
• Intro to Basic Pistol
