Wisconsin Plans 100th Anniversary For Jordan Buck
It was Nov. 20, 1914 when 22-year-old Jim Jordan killed a 10-point buck near Danbury, Wisconsin, that years later would be determined by Boone & Crockett to be the world record typical whitetail, scoring 206 1/8, until it was surpassed by the Milo Hanson buck in 1993. Plans are underway to recognize the Jordan Buck centennial in Burnett County with several events, and possibly an appearance of the mount, now part of the touring Bass Pro Shops “King of Bucks” collection.
