Looks like Texans aren’t the only ones suffering with wild hogs. A wild boar attacked a 48-year-old Japanese man on his way to Imajuku Station in the suburbs of the city of Fukuoka at 7 a.m. on October 26. The wild boar suddenly charged him from an alley. Local media said the railway station lies around a half mile from the mountains. The boar may have wandered into town from the foothills. A local hospital treated the man for wounds on both his legs, including a gash on his left thigh that needed eight stitches, and one on his right knee that needed five stitches. The South China Morning Post reports the rest of the story.
