The Journal’s own Ray Sasser has written a piece about spending time at the shooting range before opening day of deer season to make sure your rifle shoots on target. You certainly don’t want to find out the hard way on opening day. “The average deer hunter shoots less than 20 rounds a year, including sight-in time at the range.
