Rinella: Grizzlies Should Be De-Listed From ESA

In a New York Times op-ed piece, author and TV personality Steven Rinella tells why he supports the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s proposal to remove threatened species protection for grizzly bears around Yellowstone National Park. “Blocking the delisting of charismatic … megafauna like bears and wolves undermines the credibility of the [Endangered Species Act] while costing taxpayers millions and diverting resources away from genuinely imperiled, if less photogenic, species,” he writes.
