According to an article at HoumaToday.com, the popularity of TV shows like “Swamp People” is at least somewhat to blame for the recent increase in alligator hunting violations in Louisiana. “In some of our cases the subjects have admitted to watching a reality TV show and then wanting to replicate what they watched,” said said Col.
