Outdoorhub.com reports on the economic success of the Texas Legislature’s HB 716, aka the “pork chopper” bill, which allows landowners to participate in aerial gunning of feral hogs or coyotes. So far, it has helped ranchers and farmers defray the cost of this endeavor. According to the blog, people are paying around $300 per hour for a seat on a helicopter in order to shoot feral hogs.
