Richard Lomas of Mount Erie, Ill. was hunting near the Little Wabash River in Southern Illinois when he scored on a wild-looking 30-point non-typical whitetail—what he figured was a buck of a lifetime—until he discovered it was missing the plumbing necessary to fully qualify as a male of the species. Lomas tells the Evansville Courier Press he has been offered thousands of dollars for the atypical mount from outdoor outfitters like Bass Pro and Cabela’s. He hasn’t made up his mind yet on what to do with the strange doe.
