Our tailor-made hunting trips take you to the lands and history of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The species hunted are red deer, white deer, fallow deer (with the classic dark brown-black-and-white coat), mouflon, roe deer, wild boar, Japanese sika deer, Dybowski sika deer, white-tailed deer, Alpine chamois, Balkan chamois, Alpine ibex, Kri Kri hybrid ibex, Dalmatian sheep, wild goat, axis deer, capercaillie, black grouse, brown bear, pheasant, duck and goose. The hunter can choose from a wide variety of terrain (flat, hilly and mountainous).
We will help you choose the area that best suits your needs or wishes. In addition to individual hunts, we also offer wild boar and mixed driven hunts (wild boar, deer, mouflon). Last but not least, we organise top class British style driven duck and pheasant shoots in areas popular with discerning guns from all over the world.
OUR TOURING OFFER
There are an impressive number of places worth visiting in this part of old Europe: Vienna, Prague, Budapest, Bratislava, Ljubljana, Zagreb and countless small towns rich in history and culture. The offer is rounded off by magnificent natural parks, some of the most beautiful mountains in Europe, large lakes and green hills. Golf, horseback riding, spa tourism, hiking, climbing, skiing, cycling, fishing, food and wine tourism are some of the activities you can enjoy during your stay, with first class services provided by tour guides, golf coaches, mountain guides, sommeliers, etc. We can cater for special requests such as a cooking course, a Lamborghini or Ferrari track day, a museum visit guided by an art critic, an evening at the opera or theatre, a personal shopping appointment in one of Europe’s oldest hunting gun and clothing shops.
ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS
Our guests have the choice of staying in a comfortable hunting lodge or in a hotel within easy reach of the hunting area, no longer than an hour by car, and often as little as 20-30 minutes. We prefer hotels in historic buildings where guests can enjoy not only all the modern conveniences but also the atmosphere of times gone by. The choice of hotel and room is made according to the wishes and needs of each guest. We have a wide range of hotels, from the simple, but charming small family hotel to the five-star Hotel Chateau. We place great emphasis on the gastronomic part of your stay, giving our guests the opportunity to dine in award-winning restaurants or enjoy local cuisine in a small country restaurant we have selected for you, where you will be welcomed as a member of the family. It will be something you will have fond memories of when you return home. In addition to the restaurants, we recommend historic cafés where you can enjoy coffee, tea, or an aperitif, and shops where you can buy typical delicacies from different countries.
THE DIFFERENT COUNTRIES OFFERED, HUNTING SEASON, LENGTH OF STAY
Our focus is on the former Habsburg lands of Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, as well as Slovenia and Croatia. The main hunting season in these countries is from August to February. However, hunting is also possible at other times. For example, in spring or summer we can organise hunting for roe bucks or brown bear or capercaillie or black grouse. Stays vary from a weekend to three or four weeks if you want to hunt several species and visit several countries.
TROPHIES
Most of our hunts are for trophy game. Hunters can give their own rough indication of the value of the trophy they want. For those looking for outstanding trophies, we can organise hunts in the best areas for this type of very big trophies, both in free range and in large, fenced areas up to approx. 10,000 acres, which guarantee a natural hunt.
OUR PRICING POLICY AND CONDITIONS
We charge our clients the prices of our suppliers (owners of hunting areas, hotels, transfers, etc.) and a fee for the organisation of the stay, which varies according to the complexity of the stay and the services we provide directly (hunting guides, language support on spot, etc.). All with maximum transparency.
TROPHY PREPARATION AND DELIVERY TO YOUR ADDRESS
Trophies are usually prepared by our trusted taxidermists as shoulder mounted, fan mounted, or full mounted. It is also possible to prepare the trophies in the European way by boiling and bleaching. Alternatively, the trophies will be subjected to the necessary treatment so they can be shipped and prepared by the taxidermist of your choice. We take care of shipping to your address and provide all the necessary documentation.
