TBGA deadline March 1
If you took a big game animal this season, you can still enter it in the Texas Big Game Awards.
Entry categories include: white-tailed deer, bighorn sheep, mule deer, pronghorn, and javelina. Categories for youth and first-time hunters exist, too. Landowners can enter for qualifying game taken on their property. Postmark your entry by March 1, so hurry!
And for students, there are nine scholarships available (eight regional scholarships for $1,500 and one top scholarship for $3,000). Students should apply by March 31 and pursue an Agriculture or Natural Resource related degree for eligibility.
