An antique pistol described as an A.S.M. (Armi San Marco), black powder .31 cal. was discovered in a hollowed-out book donated by an unknown person to the Porter County Public Libary in Valpariso, Indiana. “Somebody just opened it up and said, ‘Oh my,'” said Assistant Library Director Phyllis Nelson.
