Youth Organization Asks Hunters For Help

Operation Orphans has selected four dates for doe hunts during the new whitetail season: Oct. 25; Nov. 15; Dec. 6, and Jan. 10. The October date will be an all girls’ hunt while the others are boys’ hunts. If you wish to help or donate, please visit www.operationorphans.org to learn how. The organization, now entering its 55th year, has hosted more than 17,000 youngsters by helping them take more than 17,000 animals. Operation Orphans is a non-profit organization that provides underprivileged children with unique and wonderful outdoor experiences by sponsoring hunting and fishing trips in the Texas Hill Country. In many cases, this is the first real such experience these children have been able to do.
