Two More Chances To Win TPWD Lifetime License

TPWD Draws First of Three Winners

There are two more chances to win an $1,800 Lifetime Super Combo license from Texas Parks and Wildlife. Two more drawings will be held Nov. 1 and Dec. 1.

Entries cost $5 each and may be added to yearly license purchases at retailers, by phone 1-800-895-4248 and online at’s no limit on the number of entries that may be purchased.

Joanne Stirt is the first winner of the Lifetime License Drawing this fall. The Bandera outdoors enthusiast can start spending more time and money on her favorite pursuit each year—fishing.

“We’ve had a deer lease for about 23 years and I go out there every year,” says Stirt, who entered the drawing for $5 and won an $1,800 Lifetime Super Combo hunting and fishing license. “But, I got into fishing the last couple of years and just love it. We go fishing in the bay, saltwater fishing, but we also bought a place on Falcon Lake and go bass fishing from dawn to dark. Honestly, I would rather do that than eat.”

Those who entered prior to the first drawing are still eligible. Proceeds from entries go toward TPWD conservation efforts to help keep hunting and fishing great in Texas.
