Aggies Develop Feral Hog Smartphone App
Here’s something that can justify owning an iPhone if you’re a landowner. Texas A&M University researchers have developed a smartphone app that helps you get rid of feral hogs. “With the information in this app alone, a landowner could conceivably identify, plan, and implement a highly effective feral hog management plan to rid his property of feral hogs and, with vigilance, keep it hog-free,” says Mark Tyson, AgriLife Extension wildlife and fisheries associate at College Station.
