Turkey program taking hold in East Texas

Texas Parks and Wildlife has embarked on repopulating East Texas with eastern wild turkeys. The project has started to show some success. “Maybe in a few years, it won’t be so rare,” said TPWD biologist Randall Kroll. Learn more in the Houston Chronicle.
