FBI Director Does Not Know How Internet Gun Buying Works

How does one of this country’s top law enforcement officials not know how gun buying on the Internet works? In a Senate Judiciary Committee oversight hearing held earlier this week, FBI Director James Comey sat before legislators to primarily discuss the recent terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) asked Comey a simple question: “If I buy a gun on the internet, is it delivered to my home?” Graham clarified, asking, “If I try to buy a gun on the internet, where do I pick it up?”

Looking perplexed, the FBI Director replied, “I assume it’s shipped to you, but I don’t know for sure, actually.” Learn the correction answer to the senator’s question, and see video from the Q and A hearing on the Outdoor Hub.
