TTHA URGES HUNTERS TO USE THEIR VOICES AND VOTE THEIR MINDS
SAN ANTONIO, TX: The Texas Trophy Hunters Association is urging hunters to protect their firearms, shooting and hunting rights by registering and voting in the general election in November 2008.
“Your vote is your voice. It tells elected officials how you feel about issues that are important to you” says TTHA Chief Operating Officer Joe Betar. “Your vote is your loudspeaker, too, and when you vote, we’ll crank up that loudspeaker so they’ll pay attention to what we have to say. Our children can’t vote so we have to do it for them. We vote to honor our history. It’s your turn to stand up and vote to preserve and honor those who went before us.”
